$175.002 Day Advanced Christmas IQ Designer Event
Special techniques covered- digitizing custom work and creating chenille. Each project will be made in one hooping and incorporating some unique IQ Techniques. Additional elements have been added like the optional flamingo quilting on the back to really finish the project with a WOW!
1. Flamingo Christmas Stocking
- Digitize an in-the-hoop stocking
- Lined stocking with IQ Designer Chenille cuff
2. Gift Bag
- Create this really cute line gift bag with draw string
3. 3-D Snowman
- Digitize a 3-D Christmas ornament
This class is designed for those who own a Solaris, Altair 2, Meridian 2, Destiny, Brother machine with similar software or anyone who is interested in owning a similar machine. For those possibly interested, we have two machines available please call the shop for more information.
What to bring to class:
- Spools of embroidery thread your favorite colors
- Spools of regular sewing thread neutral colors
- Bobbin thread or pre-wound bobbins
- Machine embroidery needles
- 5×7 magnetic hoop for the snowman project (if you have one, otherwise bring your 5×7 hoop)
- Don’t forget your power cord, foot pedal and your regular embroidery and sewing accessories
When: October 18th and October 19th, Friday and Saturday
Time: 10:00 – 4:00 both days
Cost: $175.00; fee includes light lunch (2 days), kit and instructor fee.
Remember any items purchased at Miss D’s for class receive a 15% discount. Please let us know in advance if you will need supplies, so that we can ensure we have what you need at hand.
Projects in the class will be similar but may not be the exact same as the pictures — the techniques will be the same.
Meet your educator:
Jory Snyder
Jory grew up in Texas and throughout her childhood in Texas, her mother was an avid sewer and crafter, so sewing and crafting are part of her DNA. One of her first memories was making
custom stickers to “screenprint” and personalize her Barbie doll’s clothing. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in apparel design and manufacturing, she worked for a publisher in the Dallas/Fort Worth area as an editor and designer for INKnitters and Crochet Fantasy magazines.
Please note the start time of the class, out of respect and courtesy for all attending, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you might be set up and ready to go at the start time. If you need any assistance moving, loading, and setting up your machine, please let us know.

Cancellations will be accepted until 7 days prior to class, you may be offered the option of store credit or refund. Miss D’s will work with you every way possible.
