Knowing how to lay out the designs and using different techniques for a over all visual Art vest.\n\nSupplies needed A vest that fits you well\, or a vest pattern of your choice. As simple as possible without darts. Marking pen such as water soluble or chalk\, depending on the color choice of your fabric. DESCRIPTION:We will be combining patterns and combining them to create whole cloth designs to turn into pillows\, wall hanging or whatever meets your fancy. \nPro-Stitcher Designer is full featured\, vector-based drawing software which gives you the ability to quickly design\, edit\, customize\, export and import any quilting motif you can imagine. DESCRIPTION:In this class we will cover the basic quilting elements such as; easy peasy all over designs which will include stippling\, geometrical designs\, and curly q’s.  Free motion quilting is not just about the design elements but also about spacing\, all over cohesiveness and style.  Once you learn how to scale your designs\, mix and match them you will be on your way to create some masterpieces. \nThe first Friday and Saturday of each month Miss D’s offers you an additional option for expanding your quilting experience.  Iris\, an award winning quilter and Handi Quilter Certified instructor\, will be here for hands on quilting.  On Friday afternoons\, it will be all about free motion quilting on the long-arm for anyone with the desire to learn hand guided\, ruler work or simple projects on a long-arm .  On Friday afternoon you will review topics from the prior month and will be guided through new projects that are intended to expand your skills. \nThe class is open to everyone regardless of machine brand you own or experience level.  Iris will discuss various topics throughout the day including thread\, tension\, fabrics\, patterns\, rulers and various techniques.  She will be able to answer your questions which are machine independent. \nThis is a hands-on class for anyone who is new to hand guided long-arm quilting\, so be prepared to practice what you learn in class.  Sometimes there might even be some fun homework assignments. \nDon’t have a long-arm but want to learn about them to make a well-informed decision before buying (remember\, we are here to help with your purchase with great prices and support) or interested in renting our long-arm to complete your own quilt then this class is for you. \nClass fee includes a light lunch\, so it is important we have a count of students at least 1 day prior to the event. \nPlease note the start time of the class\, out of respect and courtesy for all attending\, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you might be set up and ready to go at the start time.  If you need any assistance moving\, loading\, and setting up your machine\, please let us know. \nPlease note:  Classes must be paid in advance\, you are placed on wait list until class fees are paid.  Cancellations will be accepted until 14 days prior to class\, you may be offered the option of store credit or refund.  Miss D’s will work with you every way possible.  No refunds or store credit available after this date.
