DESCRIPTION:Pro-Stitcher Basics\nThis month Iris will cover the basics of Pro-Stitcher for those who have just purchased considering purchasing or need a refresher this is the perfect Pro-Stitcher class.  Iris will help you master the basics and be ready to quilt on your own.\n\nIf you don’t have Pro-Stitcher no need to worry\, you can just go to the Handi Quilter website and download the Pro-Stitcher software onto your lap top.   It is not necessary to purchase the software\, this download is free.  By loading the software on your laptop you will be able to explore the features on your own and be ready for class.\n  \nThe class will cover the following topics:\n1. Introduction to Pro-Stitcher Basics\n◦ Overview of Pro-Stitcher in Simulation Mode what it is and how its used\n◦ Setting up your Pro-Stitcher for Computerized quilting\n2. Support and resources Overview:\n◦ Discover helpful tools\, guides and resources to assist you beyond the classroom.\n3. Menu\, Functions and Features\n◦ Get familiar with the Pro-Stitcher Interface\, navigation menus\, and understanding essential\n4. Creating and managing Designs\n◦ Learn to create an area and fill them with designs\n◦ Explore\, Skew resize\, and align your designs to achieve precise results.\n5. DESCRIPTION:Miss D’s is excited to host Janine Babich again for another of her great embroidery classes.  This time it is for the newest of her creations – “Spring is in the Air”. \nPLEASE NOTE; the supply list will be updated upon receipt of more detailed information Janine.  This class will fill quickly\, so don’t waste anytime registering. \nSpring is in the Air supplies:\nYou must have a hoop that has a stitch area of at least\n5.25” x 8.25” (134mm x 210mm) to create this table runner.\nEmbroidery portion of class:\n\nPower cord\nThread stand (if your machine requires)\nEmbroidery bobbin case (if you use a different one for the embroidery process)\nEmbroidery hoop (see above note)\, if you have two\, bring both\nEmbroidery presser foot\nUSB stick\n505 spray\n80/12 sharp embroidery needles\nBobbin fill\n6” double curved embroidery scissors\, I prefer the Gingher brand\nThread snips\nPellon 806 tearaway stabilizer (the shop will have yardage for purchase) (provided in kit)\nMesh type water soluble stabilizer (the plastic type will not work) (provided in kit)\nEmbroidery threads (the shop will be sending you a photo of the fabric kit to help\nin your thread selection):\n\n\n3 shades of green for the leaves (provided in kit)\nOne color for the sweeping vine (provided in kit)\nOne color for the lettering (provided in kit)\n3 shades for the flowers (interior run stitch\, flower center and satin stitch perimeter) (provided in kit)\n\n\n\nConstruction portion of class:\n\nSewing machine (if your embroidery machine is not your sewing machine)\nSharp pencil\n6” x 24” ruler (be sure to label your rulers & rotary cutter)\n4” x 14” ruler\n15” square ruler\nRotary cutter\nShears for cutting fabric\nStraight pins\n80/12 sharp sewing needles\nThread to match the border and backing fabrics (neutral color)\nWalking foot\nStandard 7mm or 9mm sewing foot\n\nWhen: February 14th and 15th\, Friday and Saturday \nTime:  9:30 – 4:30 all days \nCost:  $185.00; fee includes light lunch (2 days)\, kit and instructor fee. \nKit Fee:  included in class fee: kit fabric will not match below\, you will options to select from. \n  \n  \nPlease note the start time of the class\, out of respect and courtesy for all attending\, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you might be set up and ready to go at the start time.  If you need any assistance moving\, loading\, and setting up your machine\, please let us know. \nPlease note:  Classes must be paid in advance\, you are placed on wait list until class fees are paid.  Cancellations will be accepted until 10 days prior to class\, you may be offered the option of store credit or refund.  Miss D’s will work with you every way possible.  No refunds or store credit available after this date.
