DESCRIPTION:Each month Jean provides new and exciting projects using the Accuquilt dies.  As we get closer to the class\, we will provide more details about the project. \nJean Genton is an Accuquilt Ambassador\, in her she travels to multiple shows each representing Accuquilt and provides educational information about their product.  As an Ambassador Jean teaches at every opportunity and she loves to come to our shop for our Make-N-Take. \nClass fee includes instructor and fabric. \nWhat to bring to class\, when bringing your own machine: \n\nSpools of regular sewing thread neutral colors\, include black for bobbin and top stitching (matching that month’s project)\nBobbin thread or pre-wound bobbins\nMachine sewing needles\nStraight edge ruler\ncutting tools (rotary\, scissors\, snips\, etc.)\nDon’t forget your power cord\, foot pedal and your regular embroidery and sewing accessories\n\nWhen:  April 8\, 2026 \nTime:  1:30 – 3:30 \nCost:  $30.00; per student \nRemember any items purchased at Miss D’s for class receives a 15% discount.  Please let us know in advance if you will need supplies\, so that we can ensure we have what you need at hand. \nProjects in the class will be similar but may not be the exact same as the pictures — the techniques will be the same. \n*** Miss D’s has machines available for you to use\, limited number.  Please call the shop to reserve a machine prior to class. ***

SUMMARY:Kaleidoscope Quilt with Rikki\, April 11 and 25\, Saturday
DESCRIPTION:To quote “A Kaleidoscope Quilt is a symmetrical quilt that takes its design features from the intricate patterns inside a kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscope quilt blocks are made by cutting a square into eight equal wedges\, much like an 8-pointed stars.” And that is exactly what the block looks like\, an intricate star made from fabric full of motion.  Rikki assures me that as complicated as they look they are really easy to make and will impress your friends.  She will be joining us April 11th and April 25th for a two day event to create your own Kaleidoscope quilt.  We do have a selection of background fabrics you can choose from. \n   \nWhat to bring to class: \n\nSpools of regular sewing thread neutral colors\nBobbin thread or pre-wound bobbins\nMachine sewing needles\n8 1/2 Creative Grid 45 degree triangle ruler or Marti Michelle Kaleidoscope ruler\nDon’t forget your power cord\, foot pedal and your regular embroidery and sewing accessories\n\nWhen: April 11th and 25th\, Saturday \nTime:  10:00 – 4:00 both days \nCost:  $75.00; The class is two days and the fee of $75.00 covers both days. \nPattern\, fabric\, and ruler are available at Miss D’s for a discount. \nRemember any items purchased at Miss D’s for class receive a 15% discount.  Please let us know in advance if you will need supplies\, so that we can ensure we have what you need at hand. \nProjects in the class will be similar but may not be the exact same as the pictures — the techniques will be the same.
