The Mayfair BOM uses 13 specially chosen fabrics that represent the clothing and floral displays of the Regency era. Early 1800’s Mayfair was an upper-class community near London, which included Buckingham Palace. The Mayfair BOM quilt, using traditional piecing techniques offers a King that is 108″ square and aa specialized section that can be pieced or appliqued.
The colorful batiks in this quilt will bring joy into any room. Plus, the quilt pattern itself is unique and adds to the vibrancy of the quilt. The pictures attempt to but don’t quite show the beauty of the colors. While the pictures imply pinks the colors range more to the salmon and are very rich. You will not be disappointed with the fabric selection.

This twelve-month program offers a variety of block and fabric combinations. The Forest Floor quilt uses 18 yards of Tonga batiks.
Traditional piecing techniques are used in making this quilt.
The BOM if 108″ square.
Backing fabric and shipping are already included in your costs.
The pattern used for this project is only available through the Block-of-the-month program.
Each month you have the option to attend class via Facebook and/or in-person in the shop. The Facebook group is available to all members of the Block-of-the-month even if you attend in person at the shop. Classes will begin August 6th at 10:00 am. The Facebook Group will be established prior to the August class and you will invited to join the first week of August. You will be able to share your progress, suggestions for fellow members, and to ask questions through the Facebook group. All post to the Facebook group will remain until one month after the series is complete. So if you can not join us on Wednesday, you still have the option to access the instruction and information on Facebook at your convenience.

Supplies we recommend are: Creative Grid Flying Geese Ruler, or Deb Tucker Wing Clipper and Deb Tucker Trimmer, Creative Grids 4 1/2″ square, Creative Grids 8 1/2″ square, wool pressing mat, and a straight edge ruler at least 12 1/2″ in length. During the class Jean will introduce you to the Accuquilt cutter.
This is a subscription program, you understand by joining you will be billed $43.00 1st of each month for both your block pattern and fabric. The fee includes fabric, pattern, instructor fee, backing fabric and shipping — all fees rolled into one and no registration fee.
