Lets make a Tree Skirt

Creating a personalized tree skirt is a fun and rewarding holiday project. In this class you will explore the creative possibilities of PS Designer and Pro-Stitcher. Learn how to create a stunning Star shape in Designer, then enhance it with Pro-Stitcher designs. You will discover how to resize and reposition designs, preparing them for precise stitch out. Along the way we will incorporate free motion quilting techniques to add extra details and personality to your project. This class is prefect for quilters who want to combine digital tools with hands-on creativity for truly unique results.

This is a step-by-step workshop designed to teach practical skills while encouraging creativity. You’ll leave the class with skills to continue exploring these techniques on your own.

Everything from basic Pro-Stitcher to specialty features such as; setting up and resizing an E2E design, creating an odd shaped border area, using PS Mark, Record, trace the outlines of the village. Add couched detail for texture.

Class is open to all long-arm owners regardless of  machine brand.

Class times:  10:00 am – 4:30 pm

Please bring pen and paper to take notes.  Also, bring your laptop with Pro-Stitcher Simulator installed.  In class we plan to utilize the software.  If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher, not to worry.  Just go to the Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher website and download the free software onto your laptop.

In the past we have demonstrated unique projects which would enable you to learn new techniques, use your software to its fullest and perhaps a make a little money along the way.  So, for you crafters, this project meets all those requirements.
