March 4 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm$50.00
We will use one of our quilt tops that is giving us some challenges, and how do I quilt that?
By loading a picture into designer we can audition this quilt with the designs of our choice.
Sometimes we need a little extra visual to decide if the designs we chose will look good on a quilt.
In addition, we will learn how to edit designs from our inventory to fit the quilt.
Supplies: Load a picture onto your C drive of your computer, the design from your machine
need to be loaded onto your C drive as well, Lap top, Designer should be loaded onto your computer,
wired mouse (if possible) track pad.
The first Friday and Saturday of each month Miss D’s offers options for expanding your quilting experience.
The Intermediate Pro-Stitcher series of classes is intended for those who are knowledgeable of Pro-Stitcher and with experience using the software. Iris, an award winning quilter and Handi Quilter Certified instructor, will be here to provide instruction through lecture and hands on quilting that will explore more advanced features of the software. The course content starts with the assumption that students are beyond the basics and starts with advanced use of the functions of the software. As an added bonus the instructor will be introducing Pro-Stitcher Designer to the group and over time helping you learn how to use this tool more successfully.
When attending the Pro-Stitcher class make certain to download Pro-Stitcher Simulator on your laptop and bring your laptop to class. Always ensure your Pro-Stitcher is updated to the latest version. You will initially utilize your simulator software to create patterns but since this is a hands-on class you will also stitch out your design.
Class fee includes a light lunch, so it is important we have a count of students at least 1 day prior to the event.
Please note the start time of the class, out of respect and courtesy for all attending, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early so that you might be set up and ready to go at the start time. If you need any assistance moving, loading, and setting up your machine, please let us know.
Please note: Classes must be paid in advance, you are placed on wait list until class fees are paid. Cancellations will be accepted until 14 days prior to class, you may be offered the option of store credit or refund. Miss D’s will work with you every way possible.
