Quilting Technique Class, Learning to Piece Curves, Heart to Heart, May 25th, 2024, Saturday

Heart to Heart is the pattern and it is just too darn cute. Don’t let the curves worry you, Jeanne will help you master this technique and once you do, you will make many more projects like this.

TECHNIQUES:

• curved piecing

Due to the time constraints in class, it would be be an advantageous for students to cut the fabric prior to class.  The yardage requirements and cutting instructions are included in the pattern.

• Do not use heavy fabric.

• This will be an all day class — bring a brown bag lunch.

• A stylus or fabric assist is helpful — a purple thang.

• Glue stick or fabric flue that washes out.

• Sharp machine needles are a must.

• Thread to match your fabric selection, there will be top stitching.

What to bring to class:

• Sewing machine
• Spools of regular sewing thread neutral colors
• Bobbin thread or pre-wound bobbins
• Machine needles
• Scissors
• Don’t forget your power cord, foot pedal and your regular sewing accessories
