Everything but the Kitchen Sink Longarm Applique

This month Iris has really out done herself. She created a project that will combine nearly every skill and technique we have covered to create one lovely wall hanging.  We are combining free motion with Pro-Stitcher Designer and Pro-Stitcher.

In the class you will begin with creating custom areas in designer and layout the flower arrangement in Pro-Stitcher. Then raw edge applique’ and securing all the flowers with free motion quilting. Finally, adding some couching and echoing to embellish the wall hanging.

If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher, just go to the Handi Quilter website and download the Pro-Stitcher software onto your lap top.   It is not necessary to purchase the software, this download is free.  Don’t have Pro-Stitcher on your home machine, not to worry this is a fun project and a great way to learn something new.

Class is open to all long-arm owners regardless of  place of purchase or machine brand.

Remember this is hands-on with your experienced and talented educator at your side guiding you throughout the class.

Class times:  10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Lunch:  included in class fee
Fee:  $80.00

Please bring pen and paper to take notes.  Also, bring your laptop with Pro-Stitcher Simulator installed.  In class we plan to utilize the software.  If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher, not to worry.

In the past we have demonstrated unique projects which would enable you to learn new techniques, use your software to its fullest and perhaps a make a little money along the way.  So, for you crafters, this project meets all those requirements.
