Creating a Unique Designer Sweatshirt on the Long-Arm

This month Iris has really out done herself. She created a project that will combine nearly every skill and technique we have covered to create an original sweatshirt jacket on the long-arm.  We are combining free motion, and rulers, with Pro-Stitcher Designer and Pro-Stitcher.

If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher no need to worry, you can use free motion and rulers to finish your design.  Or,

just go to the Handi Quilter website and download the Pro-Stitcher software onto your lap top.   It is not necessary to purchase the software, this download is free.  This is a fun project and a great way to learn something new.

Class is open to all long-arm owners regardless of  place of purchase or machine brand.

Remember this is hands-on with your experienced and talented educator at your side guiding you throughout the class.

The sweatshirt should be a men’s style (no raglan sleaves).  We think you will find them to be excellent Christmas gifts.

By attending class, you will receive this lovely quilt pattern for free.

Class times:  10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Lunch:  included in class fee
Fee:  $80.00

Please bring pen and paper to take notes.  Also, bring your laptop with Pro-Stitcher Simulator installed.  In class we plan to utilize the software.  If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher, not to worry.

In the past we have demonstrated unique projects which would enable you to learn new techniques, use your software to its fullest and perhaps a make a little money along the way.  So, for you crafters, this project meets all those requirements.
