Tote Bag with Jean Genton, December 10th, Wednesday

For this class we will be using the  June Taylor Quilt as You Go tote pattern on preprinted batting.  The batting gives the tote nice body and is easy to work with.  We will use the Accuquilt to cut the stripes and then stitch the bag up in no time.  Great for beginning sewing or a “Mom & Me” experience.

Class fee includes instructor and fabric.

What to bring to class, when bringing your own machine:

• Spools of regular sewing thread neutral colors, include black for bobbin and top stitching
• Bobbin thread or pre-wound bobbins
• Machine sewing needles
• Straight edge ruler
• cutting tools (rotary, scissors, snips, etc.)
• Don’t forget your power cord, foot pedal and your regular embroidery and sewing accessories

Cost:  $30.00; per student

Remember any items purchased at Miss D’s for class receives a 15% discount.  Please let us know in advance if you will need supplies, so that we can ensure we have what you need at hand.

Projects in the class will be similar but may not be the exact same as the pictures — the techniques will be the same.
