All these beautiful, intricate appliques are precision laser cut and pre-fused. All “grout” strips are also cut and pre-fused. All background squares and setting triangles are cut to perfection and included.
Each set includes the background squares, applique’ pieces, grout strips, setting triangles and instructions for the 10 blocks, using new vibrant 100’s and 1000 ‘s batik collection. Her quilt-as-you-go technique is fun and easy. It is wonderful to completely finish each block and feel a sense of accomplishment as you work on this project. Packaged 1- blocks at a time allows you to customize the size of your project from table, to lap, to bed as you wish.

SusanClaire Mayfield — The Gourmet Quilter
SusanClaire Mayfield has been quilting since the seventies and was sewing as a child encouraged by her mother before then.
When asked to teach at a local quilting store SusanClaire decided to prepare her own patterns for the class. The designs and patterns were popular and quilters asked for more – and so the pattern designing began. SusanClaire has many designs now, including fabric designs, and her own studio – now building the Barn Studio, at her home (and it is a tiny home -who needs space to live when there is space to play in the Barn!) in the country, in New Zealand, and loves it!
