Pro-Stitcher Basics

This month Iris will cover the basics of Pro-Stitcher for those who have just purchased considering purchasing or need a refresher this is the perfect Pro-Stitcher class.  Iris will help you master the basics and be ready to quilt on your own.

If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher no need to worry, you can just go to the Handi Quilter website and download the Pro-Stitcher software onto your lap top.   It is not necessary to purchase the software, this download is free.  By loading the software on your laptop you will be able to explore the features on your own and be ready for class.

The class will cover the following topics:

1. Introduction to Pro-Stitcher Basics
◦ Overview of Pro-Stitcher in Simulation Mode what it is and how its used
◦ Setting up your Pro-Stitcher for Computerized quilting
2. Support and resources Overview:
◦ Discover helpful tools, guides and resources to assist you beyond the classroom.
3. Menu, Functions and Features
◦ Get familiar with the Pro-Stitcher Interface, navigation menus, and understanding essential
4. Creating and managing Designs
◦ Learn to create an area and fill them with designs
◦ Explore, Skew resize, and align your designs to achieve precise results.
5. E2E set up
◦ Step-by-Step demonstration on how to set up and execute an edge-to-edge quilting
design to include Drag and Drop, Crop and Advance
6. Hands on for the afternoon class (3hrs)

Class times:  10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Lunch:  included in class fee
Fee:  $80.00

Please bring pen and paper to take notes.  Also, bring your laptop with Pro-Stitcher Simulator installed.  In class we plan to utilize the software.  If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher, not to worry.
