Summer Pro-Stitcher Project

Dive into a fun and skill-building summer project with Pro-Stitcher!

This project is designed to explore a variety of quilting techniques and tools, all completed on a longarm machine. Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just beginning your longarm journey, this project offers something for everyone.
By the end, you’ll have a completed quilt top showcasing your new skills and techniques. Join us to expand your creativity and make the most of your longarm this summer!
Throughout the project, you’ll master:
1. Using Different Feet
◦ Experiment with various longarm feet to achieve diverse results.
2. Free Motion Quilting
◦ Practice creating stunning, flowing designs by hand.
3. Raw Edge Applique
◦ Add dimension and texture with this creative applique technique.
4. Couching
◦ Incorporate yarn or decorative threads for a bold, textured look.
5. Pro-Stitcher Edge-to-Edge Quilting
◦ Harness the power of Pro-Stitcher to create seamless, precise quilting patterns.
6. Binding
◦ Learn tips and tricks to bind your quilt top beautifully and professionally.

◦ Starting the stitching process with guidance.

Class is open to all long-arm owners regardless of  machine brand.

Class times:  10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Lunch:  included in class fee
Fee:  $80.00

Please bring pen and paper to take notes.  Also, bring your laptop with Pro-Stitcher Simulator installed.  In class we plan to utilize the software.  If you don’t have Pro-Stitcher, not to worry.  Just go to the Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher website and download the free software onto your laptop.

In the past we have demonstrated unique projects which would enable you to learn new techniques, use your software to its fullest and perhaps a make a little money along the way.  So, for you crafters, this project meets all those requirements.
