What a great mini-carry kit. This will fit in your tote, purse, luggage, or just great on its own. It can carry 1 8″ x 6″ cutting at, mini rotary cutter, pencils/pens/chalk/markers, small scissors, needles & pins, and lots of room for tools.
Just grab scraps from your stash, large pieces, the more the better. Please do not pre-cut prior to class.
What to bring
- Regular sewing foot, 1/4″ foot
- Jeans needle or top stitch
- Scissors, rotary cutter
- Thread: Natural color, colors that will blend with your fabric selection
- Check your stash for: 1/8 yard heat and bond 2 pieces 20″ or more body, 1 piece 40″ x 2 1/4 for binding, 1 piece at least 11″ by 8″ for pocket, 1 piece 10″ by 8″ for second pocket, 4 pieces 3 1/2″ by 4″ for pins (felt works great), and 1 piece of velcro 2″
